Volunteers
Seeing the children grow and develop into whole individuals over the last 10 years has been absolutely priceless to see.
Rainbow of Hope is proud to have volunteers from around the world, who have shared their time, love and expertise with us so generously. If you would like to help, please find further information below.
Local Volunteers
We are always looking to recruit local volunteers and interns. The kids can only benefit from a committed and stable relationship. If you think you have what it takes to volunteer please download a volunteers form here and email it to info@rainbowofhope.co.za. You can expect a response within 2 working days and will then be required to attend a volunteers workshop – see 2023 dates below. For further information about volunteering please don’t hesitate to contact us.

International Volunteers
Would you like to volunteer and see South Africa? Rainbow of Hope offers a fantastic opportunity for you to see our beautiful country and you will also be exposed to the realities of everyday life!
To live in the community with a host family, contact Emily Sadana (WhatsApp +447460805310) or Sandra Senger for details of our families and fall in love with our children at Rainbow House, which we’re sure you will! Most of our international volunteers to date have made a second trip at least and we always welcome those willing to contribute and make a positive impact on the lives of the children.
When contacting Emily Sadana (UK) or Sandra Senger (Germany) with regards to volunteering, please write a short essay about why you would like to volunteer at Rainbow of Hope, what it is you can contribute by way of skills and resources and what you would like to gain from the experience. Please also state the length of time you plan on staying and what your basic needs will be.
The family welcome that we received and the joy of being with the children was the highlight of our stay in Cape Town… Rainbow House was a home to both us and the children being cared for there.
