In 2017, Pacific Mbela, was diagnosed with a brain tumour called Menogioma, which let to him being paralysed in his left side.

He made a promise to God that if he was restored to good health, he would show his gratitude by giving back to community…and this is how he gives back to community, by running in marathons for different causes. Every race he runs is for an AMAZING cause and this time it is no different.

This year he is running the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon 2025 for Rainbow of Hope, a home to abused, abandoned and vulnerable children.
